There are two types of people in this world, people who ride motorcycles and people who wish they could ride motorcycles.
It’s only for the first 10 minutes that you ride the bike, after that the bike starts riding you.

General Maintenance Tips

1. Keep the speed of your machine in between 40-50kmph for good mileage.

2. Engine need not be warmed in the morning, decompress at least three times in the morning before u start the bike

3. Do not use the choke if the engine can start without it, try starting after decompressing with the choke on, put it off and start. Use choke-on only if it is unavoidable in staring.

4. Do not open throttle suddenly might affect the engine.

5. Do not lug your vehicle on top gear at slow speed and greater throttle openings. consumes more fuel and gives low torque.

6. Do not run your machine on lower gear even for a second more than required. Come to top gear quickly as possible.

7. Avoid using clutch and brakes unnecessarily.

8. Replace defective components immediately with genuine spares

9. Never use under sized main jet to reduce consumption- will harm the engine

10. Tune your engine at least every 750km. clean carburetor also

11. Change oil at 3000km not 4000km. only 20-40 oil. Change oil filer. Clean air filter.

12. Maintain optimum air pressure 2.2kg/cm2 in front and 2.8kg/cm2 in rear.
Note: it can go up to 2.4 and 3.2 in front and rear respectively without any problem- will increase the mileage.

The Royal Bullet Rhyme :)

What’s that sound I hear tonight?
It sounds just like a Bullet Bike.
Big and tough and strong and tall,
Makes the Bullet one and all.
Confident arms to drive it straight,
Leaning into distribute the weight....

Spokes so shiny, wheels so round,
Pounding pavement through the town
Making noise to fill the air
Of crossing silence with shifting gears,
Tail Lights forming one straight line,
Bullet riders sure look fine
Cool

Rattling sound in the engine

E-mail Print PDF

If it is a marble like rattling sound, that comes when you suddenly rev up in higher gears. Then would be your timing is too early... get it adjusted

A metallic rubbing sound at idling means you are fucked up... You need to replace the cams...

It can either be a simple tappet loose issue or that the cam wheels are weared out... Better get it checked ... or you would damage your bearings in the long run...

Well... Metallic sound like knocking is common in bullet... No matter what u do...Change your rocker, tappet, valves.. Etc. but it will remain till some extent...
